Police brutality is real – Nigerian entrepreneur cries out; recounts traumatic experience her husband faced

A Nigerian entrepreneur, Maryam Adebola-Salami has taken to her Instagram page to reveal the traumatic experience her husband allegedly faced in Lagos on Friday, March 18, 2022 in the hands of LASMA officers.

The obviously pained mother-of-two who says police brutality is real, recounted how her husband, Mr Mo had left home quite late that Friday morning and got stuck in traffic. She explained that he called her around 7:20am to reveal that he was arrested and his car had been impounded.

Maryam went on to reveal that she tried to call him back severally but his line was switched off and when he eventually called her back, Mr Mo said he was at Oshodi LASMA terminal but his car was taken to Alausa.

Mr Mo revealed his bail was placed at N 750,000 and a seemingly confused Maryam wondered what the bail was for.

The entrepreneur disclosed that she sent some money to his account and he was later released on bail after paying N 70,000. The Instagram user called on her followers to help her share the post because she couldn’t fathom how a nation like Nigeria is so unsafe for law abiding citizens.

She said her husband is physically and emotionally broken from the incident. See post below:
