Tweeps have called the attention of Nigerians to a striking incident.
The death of the Alaafin of Oyo Oba Lamidi Adeyemi has been added to the list of the state’s first-class monarch’s death that Governor Seyi Makinde has witnessed, Nigerians are saying on Twitter.
Oba Adeyemi died on Friday at the Afe Babalola University Teaching Hospital, Ado Ekiti. He was 83.
Twitter users are saying that Makinde is probably the first Oyo governor to witness the death of three of such kings in his first term in office.
They went as far as pointing out that he is also the first governor to witness the demise of two strong former governors in the state during his tenure. See some tweets below:
