CBN Naira Redesign: Sowore shades Dino Melaye over the bundles of cash brought to recent event [VIDEO]

African Action Congress (AAC) presidential candidate, Omoyele Sowore, has been captured in a new video, throwing a light jab at spokesperson of the PDP presidential campaign organization, Dino Melaye at Late Ariyo Dare-Atoye’s night of Tribute.

Members of Nigeria’s Civil Society Organisations, family and friends on Saturday, gathered to bid farewell to the late human rights activist, Ariyo Dare-Atoye.

A night of tributes was held on Friday at the Yar’adua Center, Abuja, where colleagues mourned the late activist.

Dino Melaye was seen in the clip paying his tribute and giving out wad of cash to family of the deceased.

Reacting, Sowore, while delivering his tribute speech, aimed a subtle dig at the Former Kogi West Senator, for moving around with cash after CBN’s recent Naira redesign announcement.

The Central Bank of Nigeria had on October 26, 2022 announced that it would redesign and reintroduce the national currency, the Naira, in December this year.

Sowore took to his official Instagram page and captioned his post;
