Politician Kneels To Beg Residents Ahead Of Saturday’s Gubernatorial Election

A photo of Peter Mbah, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) gubernatorial candidate in Enugu State, falling to his knees to beg youths ahead of the gubernatorial elections has surfaced on social media.

This comes after supporters of the Labour Party (LP), also known as ‘Obidients,’ disgraced Mbah when he went to the Ugwu Di Nso Annual Youth Lenten Retreat to solicit support for the state gubernatorial election on Saturday, March 11.

The youths, however, refused to listen to him or allow him to address the church, repeatedly chanting “Obi! Obi!! Obi!!!.”

During the visit, the PDP candidate also shared drinks, but the youths threw them away, yelling that they didn’t need them.

The PDP candidate was seen on his knees in the photo, begging the youths to forgive him and vote for his party in the upcoming governorship elections.
