Omoyele Sowore takes a swipe at Peter Obi over decision to challenge electoral process and not result

The presidential candidate of the African Action Congress (AAC) for the 2023 elections, Omoyele Sowore has taken a swipe at Labour Party’s Peter Obi regarding the latter’s position after Bola Ahmed Tinubu emerged president-elect in the February 25th general elections.

Amid cries of rigging by Nigerians and Peter Obi’s decision to challenge INEC’s electoral process in court, Sowore likened the former Anambra state governor’s decision with that of someone who got robbed of all yet, chooses to challenge only the getaway carmaker because the robber is a beloved uncle.

Sowore claimed Peter Obi still loves Tinubu and sees him as a father figure, hence sees no need to challenge the election outcome, just the electoral process. Sharing a photo of Peter Obi and Bola Tinubu shaking hands, Omoyele Sowore tweeted:

“Their Uncle @officialABAT carried out election heist of the worst order, @peterobi however still loves him as a fatherly figure, so in a rigmarole, he does not believe in challenging the outcome but just wanna challenge the process.

This is like saying someone robbed your house and took everything but you’re only gonna challenge the getaway car maker! Because the robber is a beloved uncle! #RevolutionNow.”
