Daddy Freeze, a Nigerian media personality, has mocked Peter Obi, the Labour Party (LP) presidential candidate in the last election, over allegations of rigging.
WITHIN NIGERIA reported that a witness for Atiku Abubakar, the Peoples Democratic Party’s presidential candidate in the February 25th elections, claimed that “magic” was performed on Abubakar’s votes at several collation centers.
The witness, Ndubuisi Nwobu, claimed that the Labour Party’s candidate, Peter Obi, rigged the Anambra state election.
Obi was declared the winner of Anambra state by the Independent Electoral Commission with 584,621 votes.
In comparison, Atiku Abubakar received 9,036 votes, while All Progressives Congress candidate Bola Tinubu received 5,111 votes.
On Wednesday, Nwobu, the Anambra PDP chairman and the party’s state collation agent, testified before the presidential election tribunal.
He claimed that after the votes were counted, the presiding officers did not upload the results.
Nwobu claimed he was forced to sign the election’s result sheet at the state collation center despite visiting roughly 30 of the state’s 4,720 polling units on election day.
Daddy Freeze questioned who owns the stolen mandate Peter Obi had always claimed in an Instagram post.
He went on to say that Omoyele Sowore, the presidential candidate of the Africa Action Congress (AAC), appeared to be the only person who did not rig the 2023 election.
