A Ugandan man known as Mutiatya has made headlines by divorcing all three of his wives on the same day, leading to him becoming a single father of seven children.
The decision to end the polygamous relationships was attributed to his wives’ alleged disrespectful behavior and infidelity, which reportedly escalated after he faced financial difficulties.
Speaking exclusively to Afrimax during a recent interview, Mutiatya shared his perspective on the matter.
He revealed that he had embarked on a journey to 14 different countries, only to return to Uganda and encounter a series of challenges.
The turning point, according to him, was the loss of his job, which subsequently triggered changes in his wives’ attitudes towards him.
The Ugandan man recounted how the deterioration of his wives’ behavior led to strained relationships and their involvement in extramarital affairs with other men.
This, he claimed, was the final straw that compelled him to take such a drastic step.
In his words;
“The reason I chased them is because of their bad behaviour. At the very beginning, they were all humble and hardworking women who were ready to build a good big family.
In the end, they all started misbehaving, something I could never tolerate and the decision was to chase them away. It was harsh but a decent one as they no longer want to be decent women in the house.”
He notes that he now makes a living by selling jewelries and any other valuable thing he can lay his fingers on, adding that he now cares for other people’s kids because his children are all grown and out of the country.
