“TB Joshua asked me to recruit virgins for him” – Former Disciple, Bisola, makes shocking revelations (VIDEO)

Social media is ablaze following a BBC Africa Eye exposé on the alleged shady dealings of the late televangelist, Prophet TB Joshua. Former disciples and church workers claim he manipulated and physically abused them to stay by his side for years. Bisola, a disciple, even alleges being coerced into recruiting virgins for the cleric, sparking a frenzy of reactions online.


The online sphere is abuzz as Bisola Johnson, a former disciple of TB Joshua, stirs controversy with recent exposé, making serious allegations of sexual crimes against the late clergyman.

WITHINNIGERIA reported earlier that the BBC released a documentary focusing on the life of the late Pastor TB Joshua. 

The investigative documentary, presented by the BBC programme “Africa Eye,” debuted the first segment of its three-part documentary on Monday, January 8, 2024.

In a recent video shared by BBC Africa, Bisola, a former female disciple, revealed that her primary task was to locate and deliver virgins to TB Joshua.

Bisola, who spent 14 years inside the church compound, added that she was asked to recruit virgin girls into the disciple fold under threats of violence..

“TB Joshua asked me to recruit virgins for him… So that he could bring them into the disciple-fold and disvirgin them,” she revealed.

Bisola disclosed in the video that after breaking the virgins’ chastity, TB Joshua would take the blood-stained bedsheets to the mountains.

No fewer than 25 persons have given eyewitness accounts bordering on allegations of sexual assault, physical abuse, faked miracles and trauma -allegedly suffered in the hands of a late Nigerian pastor, TB Joshua, BBC reports Monday.

Tge BBC said it conducted a two-year investigation, in collaboration with an international media platform – Open Democracy, which involved more than 15 BBC journalists across three continents.

The investigation centered around allegations of sexual assault, physical abuse, solitary confinement, and fake miracles, amongst others.
