“I told my wife I would marry her 1 week after meeting her” – Solomon Buchi

Solomon Buchi narrates how he met his wife and advises women against dating men who only want to waste their time

Nigerian writer and activist Solomon Buchi recently shared the incredible story of how he told his wife, Adeola, that he would marry her merely a week after they first met.

He disclosed that in March 2022, he had spoken on the phone with his wife, adding that on the evening of their meeting, they had talked for hours.

In June 2022, three months after they first met, he recalled that they had begun dating, and a year later, he proposed to her.

Reflecting on their whirlwind journey, Buchi described the unexplainable connection they felt from the very beginning, an undeniable chemistry that transcended any doubts or reservations.

Solomon Buchi gave women some advise, stating that nothing can stop a man who is ready since he will always express his goals with such purpose and clarity.

He also encouraged ladies not to settle for guys who only want to be boyfriends, as a husband is never comfortable being a boyfriend for an extended period of time.

Recall that, Solomon Buchi wedded fiancée, Arike in 2023.

The post generated mixed reactions, which then led to Buchi claiming that he broke up with Arike, and then retracting the statement.

Sharing photos from the private event, Solomon Buchi tweeted:

The most beautiful moment in our lives yet. I got to be joined as one with Ariké Adeola, now Adeola Solomon-Buchi.

Marriage, an institution so sacred, and in the presence of family and a few friends, we tied our nuptial vows and committed to forever.

And it ended perfectly. I’m so humbled. Thank you Jesus.”
