Rev. Edeh emphasized that the university maintains a zero-tolerance policy towards cultism

Rev. Fr. Emmanuel Edeh, the founder of Madonna University

Rev. Fr. Emmanuel Edeh, the founder of Madonna University, Nigeria, proudly proclaimed that female students who enter the university as virgins also graduate as virgins due to the institution’s high moral standards.

In a video shared by Channels Television on Wednesday, Rev. Edeh, also a professor, emphasized the university’s reputation for moral and disciplinary excellence within the academic sphere.

He praised Madonna University, stating that individuals from abroad seeking to marry virgins specifically seek out the university because of its reputation.

Rev. Edeh stated, “It is only in this university that is maintained that girls who have entered the university as virgins graduate as virgins. You can enter our university as virgins and graduate as virgins.”

He continued by challenging anyone to identify another university worldwide that upholds this standard, asserting that people from various countries such as London, America, England, and Germany specifically come to Madonna University in search of virgin brides.

Discussing the institution’s strict adherence to morals and discipline, Rev. Edeh mentioned that students with less than 85 percent attendance are not permitted to sit for examinations. In comparison, lecturers with less than 100 percent attendance are disciplined.

Furthermore, he highlighted the university’s policy of 100 per cent student residency on campus, prohibiting students from living off-campus for better monitoring and counselling. He emphasized that Madonna University does not discriminate in its admission process, welcoming students from diverse backgrounds.

Rev. Edeh also emphasized that the university maintains a zero-tolerance policy towards cultism, molestation, examination malpractice, bullying, and drug abuse.

Founded in 1999, Madonna University operates three campuses in Okija, Anambra State; Elele, Rivers State; and Akpugo, Enugu State.
