{"id":1127,"date":"2021-02-10T11:26:47","date_gmt":"2021-02-10T11:26:47","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/gist\/?p=1127"},"modified":"2021-02-10T11:26:47","modified_gmt":"2021-02-10T11:26:47","slug":"naked-man-seen-strolling-through-london","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/gist\/2021\/02\/10\/naked-man-seen-strolling-through-london\/","title":{"rendered":"Naked man seen strolling through London"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A man has left many in shock after he was spotted strolling through central London.<\/p>\n<p>The naked man was seen walking towards Bloomsbury Square Gardens &#8220;completely unphased&#8221; by stares on Sunday afternoon, Jan 24.<\/p>\n<p>When a passerby asked why he had no clothes on, he is said to have replied: &#8220;I just took my clothes off to wash myself&#8221; before continuing his walk.<br \/>\nOnlookers later spotted him running past the British Museum.<\/p>\n<p>A witness named Catherine, 22, said she turned around on Great Russell Street to &#8220;notice a stark naked man walking down the road&#8221; at around 3.45pm.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking to MyLondon, she said: &#8220;One man stopped him and asked why he was <a href=\"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/2020\/06\/26\/hunt-for-naked-man-in-gimp-mask-who-exposed-himself-to-two-teenage-girls\/\">naked<\/a> to which he casually replied \u2018I just took my clothes off to wash myself\u2019 and carried on walking.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;My friend called the police who said the museum security had already called it in, then asked for a description of the man.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Once he walked past the museum he started running and we lost him.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;A few minutes later a police car and an ambulance were patrolling the area.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>A Met Police spokesperson said: &#8220;Police were called at 3:53pm on Sunday, January 24 to reports of a man seen walking naked in Great Russell Street.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Officers attended and carried out a thorough search of the area.
