Grammy Award winner, Burna Boy has sparked unexpected responses over his recent gesture, of allegedly reimbursing a journalist who broke her camera.<\/p>\n

This happened when the journalist was rushing to interview Burna Boy. <\/a><\/span><\/p>\n

It was learnt that the journalist, said to be an intern, broke her Panasonic GH6 camera worth over $2,000 while trying to interview the Nigerian music superstar in Paris, France.<\/span><\/p>\n

However, Burna Boy noticed the incident and instructed his accountant to gift the journalist some money to buy a new camera.<\/span><\/p>\n

A Twitter news outlet @HipHopMin5, who relayed the report wrote<\/span>:<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cWhile in Paris today a young Journalist on internship mistakenly smashed her \u201cPanasonic GH6\u201d Camera worth over $2000 dollars while rushing to interview Burna Boy. The African giant noticed this and asked his accountant to give the Journalist some money to get a new Camera.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

While one would expect the news to be met with goodwill, many criticized Burna Boy for only showing empathy to foreigners but always rude to Nigerians.<\/span><\/p>\n

According to them, the self-styled \u2018African Giant\u2019 would never do the same for a Nigerian if a similar incident occurred.<\/span><\/p>\n
