Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi has responded to Nigerian singer, Peter Okoye\u2019s threat on what Nigerians will do if the former doesn\u2019t perform well as the elected president of Nigeria.<\/p>\n

Peter Okoye, a staunch fan of Peter Obi during an interview with Arise News disclosed that the Obidients (Peter Obi\u2019s supporters) are really trying their best in making sure that Peter Obi wins, noting that they have put their trust in him believing that he is the candidate that can deliver.<\/span><\/p>\n

This comes after the Labour Party (LP) presidential candidate Peter Obi met with stakeholders in the entertainment industry on Thursday, February 9, in Lagos.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Videos from the event have emerged on social media, showing the likes of Kanayo O. Kanayo, Chidi Mokeme, Peter and Paul Okoye of Psquare, Nkechi Blessing, among others were present.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

In an interview with Peter Obi, the Arise TV interviewer while questioning the Labour Party presidential candidate repeated what singer Peter Okoye said that:<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cif you don\u2019t deliver everything you promised, we would fire you.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Reacting to the comment, Peter Obi<\/a> confirmed and accepted what Peter Okoye said, noting that it\u2019s time Nigerians stand up and attack who they voted for if he fails to deliver on his promise. In his words:<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cWhatever I promised won\u2019t be delivered overnight. I might not have 100% RESULT, but I would put 100% effort.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

He concluded that letting down people who voted for him and refusing to perform is like letting God down. See video and some comments below:<\/span><\/p>\n
