MC Sharp (male) 32; Chinenye Agbo a.k.a. Star Ella Ada (female) 26; and Anastasia Onu (female) 25.<\/p>\n<p>In the explosively popular video circulating far and wide, Chinenye seemed to have endured a brutal thrashing, leaving her garments in tatters and her once-luscious hair brutally shaved against her will.<\/p>\n<p><strong>SEE VIDEO BELOW<\/strong><\/p>\n<div style=\"width: 720px;\" class=\"wp-video\"><video class=\"wp-video-shortcode\" id=\"video-18371-1\" width=\"720\" height=\"720\" preload=\"metadata\" controls=\"controls\"><source type=\"video\/mp4\" src=\"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/gist\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/7\/2023\/08\/instagram_video_1692208779387.mp4?_=1\" \/><a href=\"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/gist\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/7\/2023\/08\/instagram_video_1692208779387.mp4\">https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/gist\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/7\/2023\/08\/instagram_video_1692208779387.mp4<\/a><\/video><\/div>\n<p>The footage ignited a fiery storm of condemnation, sweeping through the hearts and minds of Nigerians all around the nation.<strong><br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In a statement on Tuesday, Ahmed Ammani, the commissioner of police, ordered a \u201cthorough investigation\u201d into the viral video.<\/p>\n<p>The statement signed by Daniel Ndukwe,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/gist\/2022\/02\/11\/video-policeman-takes-cover-in-nearby-shop-after-gunmen-killed-3-of-his-colleagues-at-enugu-checkpoint\/\">Enugu police<\/a> spokesperson, added that upon further investigation, the trio claimed the \u201cvideo was a prank and meant to garner followers\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>The CP added that those involved will be \u201cprosecuted to serve as a deterrent to anyone who may want to perpetrate such an act under the guise of a prank\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;<strong>Enugu police operatives arrest individuals involved in the viral video of young lady being beaten, stripped and hair forcefully shaved as CP Ammani orders thorough investigation and prosecution to serve as deterrent<\/strong>,\u201d the statement reads.<\/p>\n<p>\u201c<strong>Police operatives serving in Nsukka Area Command of the Enugu State Command, on 14\/08\/2023, identified and arrested one Obed Chekwube Ugwuanyi a.k.a. MC Sharp (male), aged 32. Chinenye Agbo a.k.a. Star Ella Ada (female), aged 26, and Anastasia Onu (female), aged 26.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u201cThe trio and others at large are involved in the viral video wherein Chinenye was seen being beaten, her cloth torn and stripped, and her hair forcefully shaved on the allegation of beating up Anastasia, who is Obed\u2019s girlfriend, and giving her a human bite on the chest.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u201cPreliminary investigation reveals that the trio are, however, claiming that the video, which has generated public outcry and condemnation due to the inconceivable assault, inhuman and degrading treatments meted out on Chinenye as seen in the video, is a prank and meant to garner followers on their social media accounts.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u201cMeanwhile, the Commissioner of Police, Mr. Ahmed Ammani, while condemning the act, has ordered the State CID Enugu to thoroughly investigate and prosecute those found culpable, to serve as a deterrent to anyone who may want to perpetrate such an act under the guise of a prank.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A swift and calculated move by the Enugu State Police Command has led to the arrest of three culprits at the heart of a sensation-stirring prank video.
