{"id":20075,"date":"2023-11-03T09:35:38","date_gmt":"2023-11-03T09:35:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/gist\/?p=20075"},"modified":"2023-11-03T09:37:25","modified_gmt":"2023-11-03T09:37:25","slug":"i-have-endured-a-lot-of-woman-who-abandoned-husband-at-uk-airport-tells-her-side-of-the-story","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/gist\/2023\/11\/03\/i-have-endured-a-lot-of-woman-who-abandoned-husband-at-uk-airport-tells-her-side-of-the-story\/","title":{"rendered":"I have endured a lot of\u2026 \u2013 Woman who abandoned husband at UK airport tells her side of the story"},"content":{"rendered":"<ul>\n<li class=\"p1\"><strong>The Nigerian woman who was bashed for requesting to divorce her husband after he allegedly sponsored her education in the UK has revealed why she did what she did.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li class=\"p1\"><strong><span class=\"s1\">The woman claimed her husband has been assaulting her physically for years. <\/span><\/strong><\/li>\n<li class=\"p1\"><strong><span class=\"s1\">She shared photos as proof to back her claim of her husband being a violent man.<\/span><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\"><em>They say there are three sides to every story: your side, their side, and the truth in the middle.<\/em> <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">A Nigerian woman who went viral for abandoning her husband at a United Kingdom (UK) airport and taking their kids from him just moments after they reunited has spoken up. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Telling her side of the story amidst the backlash that has trailed her, the woman did not waste time in revealing that her husband was abusive while they were together in Nigeria. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The woman shared some photos of parts of her body which appeared bruised and accused her husband of domestic violence right from 2016. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">According to the woman, her husband had been abusive since October 2016 when she was 8months pregnant with their second child. She claimed it was the first time he beat her, simply because they had an argument about money which escalated. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">She said she forgave him after he apologized and didn\u2019t tell a soul despite the fact that she was bleeding and couldn\u2019t feel her baby move for 3days after the incident. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The woman went on to share that it became a reoccurring problem and opened up about some other times he beat her and locked her outside their home in the middle of the night, half-naked and barefoot. dependents in order to reunite with his wife, whom he financed.
