A marriage registrar at Ikoyi registry refused to officiate a couple’s wedding because of the groom’s dreadlocks.<\/p>\n

It was gathered that the groom, who wears dreadlocks when he arrived for his civil wedding was asked to do something about his hairstyle if he wants the wedding<\/a> to hold.<\/p>\n

The registrar was said to have asked him to cover his hair as the dreadlocks doesn’t sit well with him.<\/p>\n

Founder of Made Men Music Group, Ubi Franklin, who shared the video had to go out to purchase a traditional cap for the groom<\/a> to wear before the registrar agreed to wed him.<\/p>\n

In a video shared online, the groom is seen stuffing his thick dreads into the cap to hide it so that he can get married.<\/p>\n
