Gunmen wreaking havoc in Nigeria’s south east region have shot a man dead in Enugu state.
The yet-to-be-identified deceased was killed by the gunmen, suspected to be kidnappers, while travelling with his family.
The incident happened on Eke-Egede-Affa Road in Udi Local Government Area of Enugu State.
An eyewitness, who spoke in confidence with newsmen, told NAN that the armed hoodlums attacked the family and killed the man on the spot.

The Spokesman of Police Command in Enugu State, DSP Daniel Ndukwe, confirmed the incident.
He disclosed that a manhunt for the armed hoodlums and rescue of the kidnapped victims have begun.
