Embattled leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB,\u00a0 Mazi Nnamdi Kanu has reacted to news that some of his close allies and family members were instrumental to his rearrest in Kenya.<\/p>\n

Kanu said the rumour that his brother, Kanunta; Secretary, Carolyn Okoroafor, and one Madam Nnennaya Anya, were behind his rearrest in Kenya is false.<\/p>\n

WITHIN NIGERIA recalls that Kanu, who has been agitating for the actualization of Biafra was rearrested in Kenya<\/a> and repatriated to continue his trial.<\/p>\n

The pro-Biafra agitator described the news mischievous; hence those behind it must stop and issue a retraction.<\/p>\n

Kanu\u2019s reaction was made public by his Lead Counsel, Ifeanyi Ejiofor during their routine briefing at the headquarters of the Department of State Services, DSS.<\/p>\n

In a post on Facebook, Ejiofor wrote: \u201cOur Client \u2013 Onyendu Mazi Nnamdi Kanu<\/a> noted with displeasure and rude shock, the obviously false narrative being peddled by those whose primary intention is to cause mischief and on that note, he specifically directed that we should inform those who care to listen that neither the trio of Mazi Kanunta Kanu, Carolyn Okoroafor, Madam Nnennaya Anya, nor any other person in the DOS was instrumental to his abduction in Kenya and subsequent extraordinary rendition to Nigeria.<\/p>\n

\u201cOnyendu warned those mischievously purveying these fake news to desist forthwith, and accordingly issue a retraction to the effect of this damaging blackmail to the trio of Kanunta Kanu, Nnennaya Anya and Carolyn Okoroafor, and this must be done without further ado. He was very emphatic on discipline and more importantly C and C.<\/p>\n

\u201cOnyendu thanked you all, millions of his supporters and followers for your peaceful conduct so far, and implored you all to keep it up and never derail. He also enjoined you, his followers to shun distraction of any kind.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
