{"id":104703,"date":"2021-11-09T12:21:26","date_gmt":"2021-11-09T11:21:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/news\/?p=104703"},"modified":"2021-11-09T12:21:26","modified_gmt":"2021-11-09T11:21:26","slug":"bandits-re-abduct-businessman-in-zamfara-one-year-after-escape","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/news\/2021\/11\/09\/bandits-re-abduct-businessman-in-zamfara-one-year-after-escape\/","title":{"rendered":"Bandits re-abduct businessman in Zamfara one year after escape"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Suspected kidnappers have abducted a businessman, Alhaji Aminu Jangeme, a year after he escaped from their den in Zamfara state.<\/p>\n<p>The businessman, popularly known as Sarki, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/news\/2021\/09\/07\/widow-narrates-how-she-escaped-from-gunmen-who-killed-sowores-brother\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">escaped<\/a> while negotiation on the payment of ransom for release was ongoing and fled to Gusau, the state capital with members of his family.<\/p>\n<p>Jangeme, who did not know that the kidnappers were still looking for him, returned to the village where the kidnappers abducted him again.<\/p>\n<p>He was reportedly re-abducted on his farm on the Gusau-Dansadau road by the suspected kidnappers on Thursday.<\/p>\n<p>Alhaji Aminu Jangeme\u2019s elder brother, Malam Adili, who confirmed the incident, expressed fear of the re-abduction of his brother who the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/news\/2021\/11\/09\/two-suspected-kidnappers-beaten-to-stupor-in-edo-after-victim-jumped-out-of-car-booth-and-raised-alarm\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">kidnappers<\/a> had been looking for since he fled.<\/p>\n<p>According to him, \u201cThey (bandits) had been trying to abduct him again since the time he escaped and now that he is in their hands, nobody can tell when they will release him.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Suspected kidnappers have abducted a businessman, Alhaji Aminu Jangeme, a year after he escaped from their den in Zamfara state.
