{"id":121213,"date":"2021-12-15T05:11:32","date_gmt":"2021-12-15T04:11:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/news\/?p=121213"},"modified":"2021-12-15T05:11:32","modified_gmt":"2021-12-15T04:11:32","slug":"arrest-of-30-kidnappers-in-imo-we-saw-human-heads-roasted-bodies-in-their-camp-security-agencies","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/news\/2021\/12\/15\/arrest-of-30-kidnappers-in-imo-we-saw-human-heads-roasted-bodies-in-their-camp-security-agencies\/","title":{"rendered":"Arrest of 30 kidnappers in Imo: We saw human heads, roasted bodies in their camp &#8211; Security agencies"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Security agencies have uncovered dead bodies, decapitated human heads and roasted bodies at the kidnappers camp during last Monday operation which led to the arrest of over 30 kidnappers.<\/p>\n<p>The Imo state Director of Security Services, DSS, Wilcox Idaminabo, disclosed this to newsmen on Tuesday in Owerri, after the operation which took place in Orsu local government in Imo state and Uli in Ihiala local government area of Anambra state.<\/p>\n<p>Idaminabo added that Eze Acho Ndukwe of Ihube Autonomous community in Okigwe Local Government Area of Imo state, who was <a href=\"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/news\/2021\/12\/10\/police-arrest-bandits-rescue-2-persons-kidnapped-in-abuja-community\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">kidnapped<\/a> last Sunday was rescued.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt was a joint security operation comprising the military, Police and the Director of State Services, DSS, we stormed the kidnapper\u2019s hideout in a community In Anambra state and Orsu in Imo state.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe community has been deserted and nobody is leaving there. The boys carved a large area of land and that is another form of insurgency nobody is residing there.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIn the cause of the operation the security forces were able to rescue Eze Acho, and we discovered a lot of decapitated bodies. I wonder, in the 21st century, we noticed that people still practice cannibalism here. We saw human flesh being roasted. It was an eyesore.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe saw a lot of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/news\/2021\/12\/14\/burnt-and-decomposed-bodies-of-five-missing-family-members-found-inside-forest-in-south-africa\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">dead bodies<\/a>. What they do is kidnap and kill some of them.
