Governor of Kaduna state, Nasir El-Rufai has disclosed that he has approved the payment of end-of-the-year bonus for civil servants in the state.<\/p>\n

This was contained in a statement released on Tuesday by spokesperson to the governor, Muyiwa Adekeye.<\/p>\n

According to\u00a0Adekeye, the sum of N1.382 billion will be spent on the bonus.<\/p>\n

He also said the payment is part of the government\u2019s effort to \u201cboost morale\u201d and improve the welfare of civil servants<\/a> in the state.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Governor of Kaduna State, Malam Nasir El-Rufai, has approved the payment of end-of-year bonus to civil servants in the state,\u201d the statement reads.<\/p>\n

\u201cCivil servants will this month receive bonuses ranging from 100% of monthly pay for junior civil servants to 30% for senior civil servants.<\/p>\n

\u201cUnder the scheme, workers from Grade Levels 1-7 will be paid 100% of their monthly salary as bonus. Middle level civil servants from Grade Level 8-13 will get 40%, while senior officers on Grade Level 14 and above will receive 30% of their monthly earning.<\/p>\n
