Oduduwa Republic agitator and renowned political thug, Chief Sunday Adeyemo popularly known as Sunday Igboho has disassociated himself from a statement which has gone viral that\u00a0angry Yoruba youths would invade the palace of the Alake of Egbaland, Oba Adedotun Gbadebo.<\/p>\n

Recall that the Igboho’s spokesperson identified as Olayomi Koiki had in a viral video warned that\u00a0Oduduwa agitators would soon attack the monarch in his palace and other traditional rulers who do not support their agitation.<\/p>\n

But Dapo Salami who is the Senior Adviser on Media and Publicity to Igboho said\u00a0the statement was made solely by Koiki.<\/p>\n

The Alake of Egbaland, Oba Adedotun Gbadebo lastweek had warned that\u00a0it was in the best interest of all Nigerians to remain one, regardless of the current challenges.<\/p>\n

According to the retired Brigadier-General, Nigeria could not afford another civil war or absorb the huge number of Nigerians that could be displaced by any civil war.<\/p>\n

Igboho\u2019s Senior Adviser on Media and Publicity said: \u201cChief Sunday Igboho has nothing to do with this declaration by Koiki, though Koiki is Igboho\u2019s spokesman but on this particular one, Chief is not in support.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Alake of Egbaland is a major leader in Yorubaland whom we honour and have so much reverence for. Igboho will never say he wants to go and invade his palace.<\/p>\n

\u201cKoiki came in from the United Kingdom so he does not understand some things. We are not for violence<\/a>, we are not going to invade any Oba\u2019s Palace. We respect them all, they are our fathers and we will never disrespect them.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
