{"id":126390,"date":"2021-12-28T05:35:22","date_gmt":"2021-12-28T04:35:22","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/news\/?p=126390"},"modified":"2021-12-28T05:41:27","modified_gmt":"2021-12-28T04:41:27","slug":"how-fake-female-doctor-arrested-in-abuja-bought-2-iphone-12-pro-max-from-me-with-fake-bank-alert-businessman","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/news\/2021\/12\/28\/how-fake-female-doctor-arrested-in-abuja-bought-2-iphone-12-pro-max-from-me-with-fake-bank-alert-businessman\/","title":{"rendered":"How fake female doctor arrested in Abuja bought 2 iPhone 12 Pro Max from me with fake bank alert -Businessman"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A businessman, Oga Yenne, has narrated how he became a victim of a fake female medical doctor, Rakiya Beida, who was recently arrested in Abuja for defrauding people with fake bank alerts.<\/p>\n<p>29-year-old Beida, alais Dr. Amina Yusu\u00adfu Ameh, an indigene of Okene in Kogi State, who claimed to be working at the National Hospital, Abu\u00adja, is said to have dropped out in 200 levels, College of Medicine, Beyero University, Kano.<\/p>\n<p>Force Spokesperson, CP Frank Mba, who pa\u00adraded the suspect last Tues\u00adday, alongside 35 others arrested for various criminal offences, said the fake doctor spe\u00adcialized \u201cin duping busi\u00adness owners by sending <a href=\"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/news\/2021\/09\/22\/notorious-female-fraudster-arrested-for-defrauding-kano-traders-with-fake-bank-alerts\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">fake bank alert<\/a> to business owners to collect products&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Operating un\u00adder this pretense, Rakiya goes from state to state, hotel to hotel, from busi\u00adness premises duping peo\u00adple obtaining goods under false pretense and making payments with fake bank alerts,&#8221; Mba stated.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;She has so perfected her act by developing and building confidence with people. She had a history of having committed this crime in Kwara and Pla\u00adteau states and now Abuja. Read his post below:<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Remember my recent post about getting Scammed of 2 pieces of iPhone 12 Pro Max (256gb)<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Meet the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/news\/2021\/04\/17\/medical-personnel-linked-with-bandits-in-zamfara-is-a-fake-doctor-says-nma\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">fake doctor<\/a>, Dr Amina Treasure. She together with @Prince Attang Jnr placed a smart one on me after taking me to UBA Aka Road, Uyo. Filled a bank transfer form, did his BVN verification and submitted the said transfer slip to the bank and told me to expect transfer in few minutes.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Getting outside the banking hall, we decided to wait in the car outside for the transfer alert, that&#8217;s when everything happened. They hypnotized me and drove away with the phones.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I learnt she was apprehended and paraded in Abuja as seen in the video below 4 days ago. Cos, you see that #1.250,000 these people make me lost? I need am back! And I must get it.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, speaking to newsmen, Rakiya said she was ar\u00adrested because she was pretending to be a medical doctor.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I go to shops, collect goods and make fake bank alert to them and walk away. Some give me the products and some don\u2019t if they have not seen the alert. I have been doing this for a year and six months now, I was arrested in Kwara October last year where I was given gold and jarabiya to sell and return the money back to them, I sold and never returned
