{"id":131100,"date":"2022-01-07T12:16:47","date_gmt":"2022-01-07T11:16:47","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/news\/?p=131100"},"modified":"2022-01-07T12:16:47","modified_gmt":"2022-01-07T11:16:47","slug":"how-i-ended-relationship-with-prophet-after-fearful-prophecy-against-me-femi-adesina","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/news\/2022\/01\/07\/how-i-ended-relationship-with-prophet-after-fearful-prophecy-against-me-femi-adesina\/","title":{"rendered":"How I ended relationship with prophet after fearful prophecy against me \u2013 Femi Adesina"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Femi Adesina, Nigerian journalist, who is serving as the Special Adviser, Media and Publicity to the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari has revealed how he stopped relating with a Nigerian prophet over fearful prophecies against him.<\/p>\n<p>The presidential mouthpiece in a statement on Thursday, stated that he had often obliged to have an appointment with the said prophet in the state house prior to the fearful <a href=\"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/news\/2021\/07\/12\/president-buhari-osinbajo-will-clash-primate-ayodele-releases-shocking-prophecies\/\">prophecy<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>According to him, the unidentified prophet, in January a few years back, brought a number of negative prophecies which he believed was not in line with the teachings of the Holy Bible.<\/p>\n<p>He said, \u201cI used to open my doors to one young Nigerian prophet years back. I used to like his knowledge of scriptures, and ability to pray fervently. Whenever he asked for an appointment, I obliged. Of course, I didn\u2019t always believe everything he said, but I was helpful to him in ways I could.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTill about this time of a certain year. Maybe the prophet felt that it was time for him to finally gran me under his armpit, control my life totally as he wanted. So he came with a number of frightful prophecies for that year.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI listened to him calmly, and then he left that day. The Good Book (Holy Bible) says; \u201cBut he who prophesies speaks to men for their edification, encouragement and comfort.\u201d (1 Corinthians 14:3). He came to do otherwise.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThat was the last he was able to see me till date.
