Governor of Niger State and Chairman North Central Governors Forum (NCGF) Abubakar Sani Bello has commiserated with his Oyo State counterpart over the death of former Governor, Christopher Alao-Akala.<\/p>\n

Bello in a condolence message said the deceased was a man who had a humble beginning but through determination and hard work, rose to become a police officer and retired after a meritorious service to the nation.<\/p>\n

The NCGF Chairman said the deceased was also a grassroots politician, adding that he made a mark in the political history of Oyo State in particular and the country in general\u201d.<\/p>\n

He said late Alao-Akala<\/a> will be greatly missed for his efforts in making Democracy virile in the country.<\/p>\n

While praying for the repose of the soul of the deceased, he urged the family members and the Oyo State government to be consoled by the fact that the late Alao-Akala lived a good life.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe was a hardworking and very determined man, he never allowed his little beginning to hinder him from becoming great and this is a great lesson to many. \u201dMay God have mercy on his soul and comfort his family\u201d, he said.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
