The decomposing corpse of a popular plumber, Ovoke Edevwie Ogwa, has be found \u201cwith a conspicuous bullet wound\u201d in the bush of Erho, by residents who went fetching firewood in one of the communities in Abraka, Ethiope East Local Government Area of Delta State.<\/p>\n

According to PUNCH, Ogwa was abducted by yet-to-be-identified gunmen<\/a> at Urhuovie-Abraka on January 10, 2022.<\/p>\n

Reacting to the development, Special Assistant on Youth Development to the State Governor, Tony Ajaino, affirmed that he went with the police and youths to retrieve the corpse on Tuesday.<\/p>\n

Ajaino said, \u201cIt looks like a kidnap<\/a> case but there could be more to it because according to reports, those who took him away on the 10th of January, waited for him at his compound.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey collected N500,000 as ransom<\/a> on the 12th, two days after he was taken.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe was so good at his job and well patronized. He handled all my plumbing jobs.\u201d<\/p>\n

The deceased was said to have left behind a pregnant<\/a> wife and four children.<\/p>\n
