The Senate Deputy Minority Leader, Senator Emmanuel Bwacha has dumped the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for the governing All Progressives Congress (APC).<\/p>\n

The Lawmaker representing the Taraba South Senatorial District at the upper chamber was officially received into the party by President Muhammadu Buhari in Abuja.<\/p>\n

Personal Assistant to President Buhari on Digital and New Media made this known in a tweet on his official Twitter handle.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) has informed the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC)<\/strong><\/a> of plans to hold its national convention on February 26.<\/p>\n

The notification letter, dated February 2, 2022, with reference number APC\/NHDQ\/INEC\/19\/022\/14, was addressed to the Chairman of the electoral body, Prof. Mahmoud Yakubu.<\/p>\n
