Nobody knew he was going to die. The videos were made that if God saved him, we would give thanksgiving and testimony of what the boy went through,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n<p>He stated this on Tuesday while he was being cross-examined by counsel for one of the accused students, Godwin Omoaka (SAN).<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/news\/2022\/02\/14\/sylvester-oromoni-my-son-was-not-taken-to-hospital-father-reveals\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Oromoni<\/a> Snr alleged \u201cmassive conspiracy\u201d in the investigation of his son\u2019s death because the police released the suspects when they should be in remand.<\/p>\n<p>During cross-examination by the state counsel, Akin George, at the resumed proceedings on Tuesday, he told the coroner inquest that the police released the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/news\/2022\/02\/15\/breaking-how-police-report-indicted-dowen-college-late-kashamus-son-other-students-over-sylvesters-death\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">accused students<\/a> before the expiration of the 21 days remand order granted by a magistrate\u2019s court.<\/p>\n<p>He said, \u201cI said there was a massive conspiracy and it was clearly stated in the police report. A Magistrates\u2019 Court in Yaba requested for 21 days and after 14 days, the boys were granted bail when the police were not done with their investigations.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI called the Deputy Commissioner of Police at Panti and he told me to give him some time.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAfter about two to four minutes he called me back and confirmed it that they were given 21 days for their investigations and that the boys had just spent 14 days in detention. They (police) said they were going to write a protest letter.
