{"id":149356,"date":"2022-02-16T09:08:55","date_gmt":"2022-02-16T08:08:55","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/news\/?p=149356"},"modified":"2022-02-16T09:52:37","modified_gmt":"2022-02-16T08:52:37","slug":"woman-dies-after-being-dropped-off-at-hospital-in-us-naked-following-botched-butt-injections","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/news\/2022\/02\/16\/woman-dies-after-being-dropped-off-at-hospital-in-us-naked-following-botched-butt-injections\/","title":{"rendered":"Naked woman dumped outside Bronx hospital dies &#8216;after receiving botched butt injections&#8217;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A 53-year-old woman has lost her life after she reportedly received botched butt injections and was dumped outside a Bronx hospital, unconscious and partially naked.<\/p>\n<p>On Tuesday, Feb. 15, after two unknown women drove her to the hospital in her BMW SUV and walked off, Maxine Messam, of Bridgeport, Connecticut, was dumped at Jacobi Medical Center.<\/p>\n<div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>The unconscious woman was naked from the waist down with needle marks on her body and a foreign substance <a href=\"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/news\/2021\/11\/05\/soldier-to-die-by-lethal-injection-for-car-snatching\/\">injected<\/a> into her buttocks, the NYPD said.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-149372\" src=\"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/5\/2022\/02\/chioma_adebiyi\/2022\/02\/16\/620c8c7c4f9f0.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"634\" height=\"845\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/5\/2022\/02\/chioma_adebiyi\/2022\/02\/16\/620c8c7c4f9f0.jpg 634w, https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/5\/2022\/02\/chioma_adebiyi\/2022\/02\/16\/620c8c7c4f9f0-225x300.jpg 225w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 634px) 100vw, 634px\" \/><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>The two unknown women who drove Messam to the hospital, told the medical staff they found her\u00a0in distress asking for help at Woodlawn Cemetery and offered to help her, according to police.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>Authorities were later called to the scene around 1:51 a.m. soon after Messam died.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>&#8220;We don&#8217;t know what happened,&#8221; the victim&#8217;s shocked husband Carlos Simpson told the New York Daily News. &#8220;She was at work and she left work. So we don&#8217;t know what happened from there.&#8221;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>An autopsy has been ordered to reveal her cause of death, which is being investigated due to the suspicious circumstances.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>Detectives want to speak with the two women who dropped Messam off at the hospital.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>&#8220;Everybody is really emotionally damaged at this point in time,&#8221; Messam&#8217;s son said. &#8220;I would like to say something but we don&#8217;t have all the details.&#8221;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"meta\"><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A 53-year-old woman has lost her life after she reportedly received botched butt injections and was dumped outside a Bronx hospital, unconscious and partially naked.
