A 40-year-old man, Ayuba Ibrahim has been arrested by the police for allegedly killing his son, Yusuf in Jigawa.<\/p>\n

The Police public relations officer, Asp Zubairu Aminudeen Ismail, who confirmed the incident said the suspect deceitfully collected the deceased from his mother under the pretence that he was taking him to his sister.<\/p>\n

According to a DAILY POST report, the suspect later called and informed the mother that the baby<\/a> died on his way to kano and has been buried.<\/p>\n

The police spokesman said investigations revealed that the child, who is about a year old was born out of wedlock and that the father collected the child from the mother three weeks ago, killed<\/a> and kept him in a bag and hid the dead body in a gutter along Maigatari road.<\/p>\n

Zubairu added the police had located and recovered the child\u2019s corpse from where it was hidden in a gutter.<\/p>\n

He also disclosed that the body was taken for medical examination and later released to the relatives for proper burial.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
