The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has announced that a 34-year-old man was detained in Kano with 476kg of cannabis.<\/p>\n

The NDLEA’s Director of Media and Advocacy, Femi Babafemi, made the announcement in a statement on Sunday.<\/p>\n

Nasiru Abdulrahman, the suspect, was detained last Friday at Kwanar Dan Gora in the state’s Kiru Local Government Area, according to the statement.<\/p>\n

According to the statement, the operatives<\/a> of the anti-narcotics agency also seized 4,000 tablets of Tramadol 225mg from a 24-year-old Abdulmiminu Abubakar who was arrested at Gidan Madara, Mubi North Local Government Area of Adamawa State.<\/p>\n

The statement added that the suspect was arrested while travelling on a motorcycle to deliver the drugs in Bukula, Cameroon Republic.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe claimed another suspect, Fahad Mohammed, 19, gave the consignment to him. Fahad was later arrested in a follow-up operation at his home in Kasuwan Borkono Area of Mubi town\u201d, it stated.<\/p>\n
