We chatted around 8pm on WhatsApp when he asked if there was light and said I should prepare Eba (cassava flour) for him. \u201cAfter preparing it, I put it on the dinning.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI became worried when he did not return home by 9pm. I called his mobile line severally, he didn\u2019t pick.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI called my brother-in-law to help me call him. After a while, he called back to say my husband\u2019s phone was switched off.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhen I dialed it, it was indeed switched off.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI thought he did not want to come home and didn\u2019t know how to tell me.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe next day, I dialed his number again and it was still switched off. That was when I started calling his friends and they all said they didn\u2019t see him.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI went to the nearest police station in the company of some of my husband\u2019s friends to lodge a complaint on his disappearance.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe were advised to go to lyaganku Police Division.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAt the Division, the officers said we should go to their control room, where his information was collected and they called all the police stations in Oyo State to know if he was in police custody.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe Divisions called back that he was not in any of them.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cLater, we went to the Anti-kidnapping Squad at Dugbe, where they collected N35, 000 to track the first three numbers that he called.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThey called someone in the Glo office to check the last three numbers that called him on the day he went <a href=\"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/news\/2022\/03\/05\/viral-voice-notes-revealed-missing-brt-passenger-struggle-with-her-abductors-brother\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">missing<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe first number was his mother\u2019s, the second number was mine and the third number was his ex-girlfriend. \u201cThe police later arrested the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/news\/2022\/01\/29\/real-estate-agent-dies-in-ogun-hotel-after-sex-with-ex-wife\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">ex-girlfriend<\/a> who revealed that they both went to a hotel together that evening.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cShe said she left before my husband. The police went to the hotel and they confirmed that they both checked out but that the lady left him in front of the hotel.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHowever, his ex-girlfriend revealed that when they were together in the hotel Michael was receiving a video call.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cShe said he also received a video call when he was leaving the house too\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>The nursing mother of a five months old baby said police investigation seems to have come to a dead end without any information on her husband\u2019s whereabouts.<\/p>\n<p>She added that his ex-girl friend who was arrested has been released.<\/p>\n<p>The wife said, \u201cI can\u2019t even think straight, our wedding is not even up to a year\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>68\u2013year\u2013old mother of the missing man, Mrs. Bisi Ojo, called on the Inspector-General of Police, IGP, Usman Akali Baba, to help investigate the whereabouts of her son, Vanguard reports.<\/p>\n<p>She said, \u201cI am a widow.
