He however said Dr Rahmon <a href=\"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/news\/2022\/03\/07\/adegokes-murder-court-denies-rahman-adedoyin-6-others-bail\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Adedoyin<\/a> did not personally offer him money.<\/p>\n<p>He added that he saw blood stains on the wall of the room where his brother lodged at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/news\/2021\/11\/30\/how-hilton-hotel-monitored-my-husband-before-he-was-killed-wife-of-oau-mba-student-adegoke\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Hilton Hotel<\/a>, Ile-Ife when he and some operatives inspected the room.<\/p>\n<p>Gbade, the third prosecution witness, while being led in evidence by the prosecution counsel, M. Omosun, also said he observed during the visit that the door to the room was damaged and repaired.<\/p>\n<p>But while being cross examined by Mr K. Eleja, SAN, counsel for the hotel\u2019s owner, Adedoyin, he admitted not writing that there were blood stains on the wall and that the door to the room was damaged in the two statements he wrote before the police, which were earlier admitted as evidence by the court.<\/p>\n<p>According to Gbade, the receptionist on duty the day late <a href=\"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/news\/2022\/02\/13\/timothy-adegoke-wife-of-accused-hilton-hotel-owner-gives-update-on-court-case-police-investigation-reports\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Adegoke<\/a> lodged in the hotel, Adesola Adedeji, told Investigative Police Officer in charge of the case that the hotel\u2019s lodgers\u2019 register had been doctored.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Gbade, elder brother to the late Masters\u2019 student of Obafemi Awolowo University, Timothy Adegoke, has said he was approached by one Idmund on the telephone phone to accept N50 million, while wife of the deceased, was offered N70 million to settle the matter.
