armed robbers were foiled<\/a>.<\/p>\nAccording to the report, the suspects were detained between January 24 and March 1 as a result of preventive initiatives and reenergized security architecture.<\/p>\n
CSP Adekunle Ajisebutu, the police spokesman, provided these figures during a briefing conducted Monday afternoon at the Command Headquarters in Ikeja.<\/p>\n
According to Ajisebutu, 50 of the 62 robbery suspects and 98 cultists have been charged.<\/p>\n
He said 15 stolen vehicles, 27 arms, 83 ammunition and 10 other dangerous weapons were recovered through painstaking and coordinated investigations carried out by crack detectives.<\/p>\n
