Prof. Charles Soludo, who was sworn in as the sixth Governor of Anambra hours ago, has announced the appointment of three people to his government.<\/p>\n

On Thursday in Awka, Mr Joe Anatune issued a statement to the media announcing the new appointments.<\/p>\n

Prof. Osita Chukwulobelu was named Secretary to the State Government (SSG) and Dr. Chukwudi Okoli was named Accountant General, according to the release.<\/p>\n

Mr. Chinedu Nwoye was also named Deputy Chief of Staff and State Chief of Protocol.<\/p>\n

Earlier, governor Soludo promised to deliver on his electoral promises<\/a>.<\/p>\n

According to him, \u201cOur detailed plan rests on five key pillars: law and order (homeland peace and security); economic transformation as Nigeria\u2019s next axis of industrial-tech and leisure; competitive and progressive social agenda (education, health, youth, women and vulnerable groups); Governance, rule of law and a rebirth of our value system; and aggressively tackling our existential threat posed by the environment\u2014towards a clean, green, planned and sustainable cities, communities, and markets.<\/p>\n
