{"id":164428,"date":"2022-03-20T03:46:56","date_gmt":"2022-03-20T02:46:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/news\/?p=164428"},"modified":"2022-03-20T03:46:56","modified_gmt":"2022-03-20T02:46:56","slug":"plateau-gunmen-kill-lalongs-aides-stepbrother-abduct-stepmother","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/news\/2022\/03\/20\/plateau-gunmen-kill-lalongs-aides-stepbrother-abduct-stepmother\/","title":{"rendered":"Plateau: Gunmen kill Lalong\u2019s aide\u2019s stepbrother, abduct stepmother"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Fwangshak Plang, step brother of the Special Adviser on Public Affairs to the Plateau State Governor, Diket Plang, has been killed by gunmen suspected to be kidnappers in Takas village, Pankshin Local Government Area of the state.<\/p>\n<p>The deceased was said to have been fatally wounded when the assailants attacked the community on Friday night.<\/p>\n<p>According to PUNCH, a resident in the community, Solomon Dickson, said that the attacker stormed the home of the governor\u2019s aide and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/news\/2022\/03\/13\/how-4-year-old-kids-abducted-in-lagos-were-lured-with-biscuits\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">abducted<\/a> his stepmother and a girl.<\/p>\n<p>Dickson added that the late Plang who had been asleep was woken up by the noise in the compound and was attacked when he came out to see what was going on.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt was last night (Friday) that the gunmen came and attacked the house of Diket Plang, who is a special adviser to the governor. When they (kidnappers) arrived at his house in Takas that night, the governor\u2019s aide was not in the house at the time. So, they broke into the apartment where his <a href=\"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/news\/2021\/08\/05\/breaking-bandits-abduct-zamfara-speakers-father-stepmother-five-others\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">stepmother<\/a> and a young girl staying with her were sleeping and abducted them.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSo, the step-brother, Fwangshak Plang, who was woken up by the noise in the compound from another apartment where he was sleeping came out to know what was happening. The kidnappers, on sighting him, attacked him and wounded him badly.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cUnfortunately this morning, (Saturday), he just died from the injury inflicted on him. As I\u2019m talking to you, we have not seen the stepmother of the governor\u2019s aide and the young girl staying with her since they were taken away by the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/news\/2022\/03\/13\/emir-of-bungudu-recounts-his-32-days-experience-in-kidnappers-den\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">kidnappers<\/a> last night. And we don\u2019t know where they have taken them to.
