Kogi State Governor Yahaya Bello has revealed why he wants to be Nigeria’s President in 2023.<\/p>\n

Bello stated that he is running for President because he wants to restore Nigerians’ hope.<\/p>\n

This, he declared, will be accomplished through ensuring security, unity, and progress.<\/p>\n

He spoke in Abuja’s Eagles Square when he formally declared his ambition to run for President in 2023<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n

If elected president, the governor vowed to duplicate some of his successes in Kogi State across Nigeria.<\/p>\n

According to Bello: \u201cI am running for president<\/a> because I see a bright light shining at the end of the tunnel for our nation. I am not one of those who always see doom. What God has helped us to do in Kogi state, by the grace of God we will replicate the same in Nigeria.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are so blessed as a nation and yet it does not always seem so. I am running to restore hope by providing guarantees for security, unity and progress to all Nigerians.<\/p>\n

\u201cOur focus will be proper management of our great diversities, so that it can really be an advantage. We will foster more cooperation and integration amongst citizens and make sure that progress is made steadily across all sectors and indicators.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
