{"id":171372,"date":"2022-04-02T20:26:17","date_gmt":"2022-04-02T19:26:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/news\/?p=171372"},"modified":"2022-04-02T20:26:17","modified_gmt":"2022-04-02T19:26:17","slug":"2023-how-i-will-make-20m-nigerians-millionaires-by-2030-if-elected-yahaya-bello","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/news\/2022\/04\/02\/2023-how-i-will-make-20m-nigerians-millionaires-by-2030-if-elected-yahaya-bello\/","title":{"rendered":"2023: How I will make 20m Nigerians millionaires by 2030 if elected \u2013 Yahaya Bello"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi State, on Saturday, promised to make 20 million Nigerians millionaires, if elected President in 2023.<\/p>\n<p>Bello disclosed this while declaring his intentions to run for the Presidency in 2023.<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/news\/2022\/04\/02\/2023-real-reasons-im-running-for-presidency-gov-yahaya-bello\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">governor had declared his intentions to run for the Presidency<\/a> at the Eagles Square in Abuja.<\/p>\n<p>He promised to build on the legacy of President Muhammadu Buhari by creating 20 millionaires in the country by 2030.<\/p>\n<p>Bello disclosed that each of the 20 millionaires would empower five other Nigerians.<\/p>\n<p>The Presidential aspirant recalled how reports claimed that over 100 million Nigerians lived in extreme poverty during the administration of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.<\/p>\n<p>He noted that the Buhari-led administration reduced the figure to 70 million.<\/p>\n<p>He said: \u201cIn 2018, with APC in the saddle that figure has dropped to about 87m people yet Nigeria overtook India as the poverty capital of the world. Just this month, Nigeria through the effort of the President relinquished the title back to India and brought down the figure to about 70m people.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt is therefore clear that our path to national prosperity lies in pulling millions of Nigeria out of poverty.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe Buhari administration has a target of lifting 100 million Nigerians out of poverty by the year 2030.
