The Nigeria Customs Service Board (NCSB) has authorized the promotion of 3,466 officers in general duty and support staff officers.<\/p>\n

Deputy Comptroller Timi Bomodi, Customs Public Relations Officer, announced the approval in a statement on Tuesday.<\/p>\n

According to the spokesperson, the board made the decision on March 29 during its 54th regular meeting.<\/p>\n

Zainab Ahmed, Minister of Finance and Chairman of the NCSB, presided over the meeting.<\/p>\n

Ahmed commended the Customs for the achievements in trade facilitation<\/a> and revenue generation in 2021.<\/p>\n

The minister charged the elevated officers to redouble their efforts in order to hit targets set for 2022.<\/p>\n

Comptroller Officers promoted are SA Bomoi, AA Anthony, BO Olumo, CK Niagwan, NP Umoh, OO Orbih, RC Nwankwo, MM Tilleygyado, MC Ugbagu, CD Wada, A Bako, AM Adegbite and KI Adesola (Mrs).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
