World’s richest man Elon Musk says he is homeless.<\/p>\n
The Tesla and\u00a0SpaceX\u00a0mogul who claimed that he stays with friends, further said he\u00a0hardly spends any of his money on material things and only bought a plane so he can spend more time working.<\/p>\n
Musk told TED in an interview, which aired on Monday, April 18,\u00a0that he does not own a single house even in his base of Texas or near Tesla’s San Francisco headquarters.<\/p>\n
Instead, the businessman, who is estimated to be worth over\u00a0\u00a3200billion, chooses to make use of his many friends’ guestrooms.<\/p>\n
The 50-year-old said: “I don\u2019t even own a place right now, I\u2019m literally staying at friends\u2019 places. If I travel to the Bay Area, which is where most of Tesla\u2019s engineering is, I basically rotate through friends\u2019 spare bedrooms.”<\/p>\n
Musk has also rejected the billionaire lifestyle of a yacht and non-stop\u00a0holidays.<\/p>\n
He said: “I don’t have yacht, I don\u2019t take vacations, so its not that my personal consumption is high. One exception is a plane but if I don’t use the plane I have less hours to work.”<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
