{"id":184758,"date":"2022-05-03T06:11:05","date_gmt":"2022-05-03T05:11:05","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/news\/?p=184758"},"modified":"2022-05-03T06:11:05","modified_gmt":"2022-05-03T05:11:05","slug":"ondo-woman-remanded-for-stabbing-neighbour-to-death","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/news\/2022\/05\/03\/ondo-woman-remanded-for-stabbing-neighbour-to-death\/","title":{"rendered":"Ondo woman remanded for stabbing neighbour to death"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A woman, Omowale Olorunfemi, has been remanded for allegedly stabbing her neighbour, Agatha Julius to death during a fight at Okeluse, in Ose Local Government Area of Ondo State.<\/p>\n<p>Olorunfemi, who was arraigned on two counts of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/news\/2022\/04\/19\/we-killed-her-because-she-recognized-me-former-employee-confesses-to-murder-of-ex-edo-lawmakers-cook\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">murder<\/a> arrested by the police after committing the crime on February 14, 2022.<\/p>\n<p>The prosecutor, Suleiman Abdulateef, told the court that the offence contravened sections 316 and 319 of the Criminal Code, Cap. 37, Vol. 1 Laws of Ondo State of Nigeria, 2006.<\/p>\n<p>Abdulateef also prayed the court to remand the defendant in a custodial centre pending legal advice from the Directorate of Public Prosecutions.<\/p>\n<p>Counsel for the defendant, G.O.
