The director-general of Yahaya Bello\u2019s campaign group, Hafsat Abiola-Costello, says only the Kogi State governor can bring the country out of the quandary it’s currently enmeshed in.<\/p>\n

Abiola-Costello made this known on Tuesday while addressing journalists, adding that Bello<\/a> had demonstrated his capabilities as the governor of Kogi.<\/p>\n

She added that the world bank commendation of his financial acumen and fiscal responsibility was a testament to the governor’s transparency, credibility and accountability.<\/p>\n

\u201cFirst the governor is an accountant, and he actually is one of the few state governors in Nigeria that the World Bank has certified his transparency in finances. I do not know any other state that the World Bank has given his ranking,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

She disclosed reasons why Bello remained Nigeria\u2019s best bet in the forth-coming 2023 presidential election.<\/p>\n

She explained that 30 years after June 12, Bello was in the presidential race to restore the truncated hope of Nigerians, especially that of the youth, women and the vulnerable.<\/p>\n

Abiola-Costello said that the aspirant had signalled to the youth that \u201cNigeria is for them, that they are the ones that should be in charge and young people and women in Nigeria are ready to lead.<\/p>\n

She added that the aspirant was someone that did not like to take loans as he had been carefully managing the resources of the state by the IGR of the state he built.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
