instructions of the Rivers State Government<\/strong><\/a>, is a candidate for the Peoples Democratic Party’s (PDP) governorship ticket in the state.<\/p>\nHe was apprehended a day after the state government proclaimed him wanted on suspicion of disrupting the PDP’s screening of applicants for State Assembly posts in Port Harcourt last Wednesday.<\/p>\n
A magistrate court in Port Harcourt had since remanded him in police detention.<\/p>\n
According to a statement by his media aide, Ibrahim Lawal, Dagogo complained of stomach and chest complications before he was taken to the hospital by the police where he is now receiving treatment.<\/p>\n
The statement Wednesday read, \u201cHon. Doctor Farah Dagogo has been taken to the hospital by the Police. He complained of stomach and chest complications. He is receiving treatment now.<\/p>\n
