Governorship aspirant of the Peoples Democratic Party in Rivers State, Farah Dagogo, failed to appear in court on Monday.<\/p>\n
The magistrate court resumed hearing of his case on Monday morning.<\/p>\n
Dagogo has been incarcerated since his arrest by police following allegations of cultism and vandalism.<\/p>\n
When the case was called, River state government prosecutor, Chidi Eke, told Chief Magistrates Amadi Nna, that fresh information has been filed at the State High Court<\/p>\n
Dagogo\u2019s lawyer, Femi Adegbite, had applied for motion on bail at the Magistrates Court, but was opposed by the prosecution counsel.<\/p>\n
The police did not give any reason for the absence of Dagogo who represents Degema-Bonny Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, and Chief Magistrates Nna adjourned the case to May 23 for mention.<\/p>\n
