The President of the Senate, Ahmed Lawan has joined the 2023 Presidential race.<\/p>\n
Lawan purchased the All Progressives Congress, APC, nomination forms at the International Conference Centre, ICC, in company of his friends.<\/p>\n
The development put to rest speculation that the number three citizen is mulling plans to vie for presidency.<\/p>\n
It was learnt that Lawan\u2019s friends were led by Chief Sam Nkire, a member of the National Caucus of the party and 15 other Senators.<\/p>\n
This makes the Senate President the 24th aspirant to pick the APC\u2019s expression of interest and nomination forms.<\/p>\n
