Otunba Yinka Akerele, a former governorship candidate for the Peoples Democratic Party in Ekiti State, has emerged as the party’s House of Representatives candidate for the Ekiti North Federal Constituency.<\/p>\n

WITHIN NIGERIA gathered that Akerele emerged unopposed.<\/p>\n

Joju Fayose, the son of former Governor Ayo Fayose<\/a>, won the ticket for the Ekiti Central Federal Constituency 1, which includes Ado and Irepodun\/Ifelodun Local Government Areas.<\/p>\n

He received 69 votes, compared to nine for his opponent, Deji Adeosun.<\/p>\n

Also running for Ekiti Central Federal Constituency 2 is Fayose’s spokesperson, Lere Olayinka.<\/p>\n

On Sunday in Aramoko Ekiti, Olayinka received 54 votes to defeat Mr Victor, who received 45 votes for the position.<\/p>\n

In Ekiti North Federal Constituency 2, Babatunde Ajayi polled 63 votes to defeat Hon Funmi Ogun, who had 33 votes.<\/p>\n
