Ambassador Chris Giwa, a member of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in Plateau State, has won the party’s nomination to represent the Plateau North Senatorial zone in 2023.<\/p>\n

Out of the three candidates, Giwa<\/a> received 213 votes, defeating Hon. Mafeng Gwalson, who received 150 votes.<\/p>\n

Hon. Lumumba Dah Adeh, the third candidate, had previously withdrawn from the race prior to the start of the election.<\/p>\n

Hon. Musa Gidado, Chairman of the Electoral Panel, announced the results and advised the candidates to work together to win the secondary election.<\/p>\n

In response, Giwa thanked all stakeholders and delegates for their support and promised that he would do everything in his power to guarantee that the party won the secondary election.<\/p>\n

Also speaking, Gwalson promised to collapse his structure for the winner and make sure he delivers at the secondary polls.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
