A fatal road crash in Yobe state has claimed the lives of three officers of the Nigerian Correctional Services (NCS). <\/p>\n
Prior to their death, the officers were serving at the Medium Security Correctional Centre in Potiskum town, Yobe State.<\/p>\n
The incident occurred along Maiduguri-Damaturu high on Sunday while the NCS personnel were returning from a wedding that took place in Maiduguri, Borno State.<\/p>\n
The deceased are: Ibrahim Ibrahim Kori, Ibrahim Garba Adamu and Abdullahi Usman.<\/p>\n
The remains of the deceased have since been interred on Monday after a funeral prayer was held at the Palace of Fika Emir in Potiskum town, Yobe State.<\/p>\n
In attendance was the Emir of Fika and Chairman Yobe Council of Traditional Rulers, Alhaji Muhammadu Abali Ibn Muhammadu Idrissa, alongside hundreds of other people.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
