Kogi Governor, Yahaya Bello has said he would re-contest for the presidency in the near future.<\/p>\n

Bello, who was one of the 23 presidential aspirants of the ruling All Progressives Congress\u2019 (APC), disclosed this to State House Correspondents after a meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari.<\/p>\n

According to him, he joined the contest for the APC presidential ticket to \u201ctest the mike,\u201d saying that his next attempt would be \u201csupersonic.\u201d<\/p>\n

Bello appealed to his supporters not to be disillusioned as according to him, in life \u201csometimes you win some and sometimes you lose some.\u201d<\/p>\n

He urged his supporters to support the ruling party across board in the coming elections.<\/p>\n

On the possibility of the APC presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu<\/a>, running with a Muslim running mate, the Governor stated that politics of religion should not be the determinant for political offices.<\/p>\n

He said whether a Muslim\/Muslim or Christian\/Christian ticket, the major consideration for selection should be the ability to deliver.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
