The Oba of Lagos, Rilwan Akiolu has given his royal blessings to the All Progressives Congress, APC, presidential candidate, Bola Ahmed Tinubu.<\/p>\n

The Oba gave the blessings on Sunday when Tinubu paid him a visit on his return to the State <\/a>after clinching the APC ticket earlier in the month.<\/p>\n

According to the monarch, Tinubu\u2019s victory at the 2023 presidential has opened a new chapter in his political journey. <\/p>\n

He added that all Yoruba ancestors would ensure that’s ambition materialised. <\/p>\n

He said, \u201cYour emergence as the presidential candidate of your party is the beginning of another journey in your political career.<\/p>\n

\u201cAll Yoruba ancestors shall be with you on this journey to make our fatherland a better place.\u201d<\/p>\n

Earlier, Tinubu, a former governor of the State told the monarch that his efforts to succeed President Muhammadu Buhari was to ensure that the Yoruba nation is properly represented at the national level.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
